Open Evening - Wednesday 18 September 2024
Year 6 students (in September 2024) and their parents/carers are warmly invited to our Open Evening from 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Wednesday 18 September. Student-led guided tours will run throughout the evening and Mr Towill will also give a presentation. Just turn up, no need to book; we look forward to seeing you there.
The move from primary to secondary school is a very important milestone which can potentially be an anxious time for both students and their parents/carers. This evening represents the start of the transition process by providing an opportunity for parents/carers and youngsters to see the school and meet the staff. Following this event, we will be working closely with our primary school colleagues to ensure the transfer of every child is as smooth as possible.
During the evening, each curriculum area will be showcasing the work that goes on in the classroom and subject teachers will be available to answer any questions you may have.
